I agree. I dont know anything about the comics, but I'm really tired of how movies about fighting the supernatural always have to invovle some crappy looking homemade guns and gadgets.
Always fun to see Karl Hungus though.

Theres was one highlight in the movie though, the scene where the predator picks up an alien by the tail and slapps him around.

Because of this thread I had to see AVP again.
Its amazing how the facehuggers manage to plant an egg in a human, and the egg transforms itself into a fullgrown alien all within 24 hours.
Paul WS Anderson has to be one of the worst directors outthere together with Uwe Boll.
Everything they touch turns into poo.

Within about 10 hours the chestburster comes out and starts eating any material nearby wether it is organic or inorganic. Within 24 hours it becomes a full grown male. If there is no queen within the area then the males can actually plant a queen egg.
Unfortunatly in AVP it seemed like the aliens grew up in about 20 minutes time instead of the 24 hours cause it seemed like the crew was inside of the temple for maybe 2 hours.
Yesh that was what I ment. It happened all to quickly especially when you compare it with the first alien movie.
edit : Damn all this alien talk I will be forced to have an Alien marathon tonight

I think its about time they make Alien vs predator vs terminator.
Skynet sends terminators back in time to kill aliens and predators because they threaten to exterminate humans thus making the creation of skynet impossible.
